I hate eating after I come back from a run/workout. I prefer something light, nutritious and thirst-quenching that fills me up till I can eat my brunch/dinner. This smoothie is perfect. Packed with essential nutrients and fiber, it's a complete energy booster even on days when you don't want to exercise but need a healthy drink.
Here's what you need -
10 strawberries ( take off the stems and chop roughly)
2 teaspoons organic honey (I use Orange Blossom)
3 seedless dates chopped up
1 big banana
1 teaspoon vanilla bourbon powder
1/2 litre Kefir (probiotic fermented milk). You can also use yoghurt if you prefer.
Method
Blend all the ingredients and serve fresh or chilled.
